More single-family homes occupied by renters

The percentage of single-family homes occupied by renters continued to grow last year, according to an analysis of several Census Bureau surveys by economist Tom Lawler, who estimates that the number of detached and attached homes occupied by renters grow by about 2.6 million from 2007 to 2012.
