A vacation property salesman and fan of Liberace has purchased the deceased entertainer’s former Las Vegas estate for $500,000.
Liberace bought the estate in the 1960s and lived in it until he died in 1987, adding features such as piano key artwork in the kitchen and bathroom, a mirror-covered bar, a $75,000 spiral staircase imported from France, and a room covered in copper tile worth $350,000.
The buyer, Martyn Ravenhill, bought the estate for himself as a 50th birthday present and plans to restore the property.
