Since retiring from his last job as a Realtor in Lodi, Calif., with Century 21 M&M and Associates, Jim Caughran, 76, has become an avid reader — he tackled more than 300 e-books last year, the Lodi News-Sentinel’s Christina Cornejo reports.
Inspired by NaNoWriMo — a nonprofit that’s designated November as “National Novel Writing Month” — Caughran churned out and self-published a 55,000-word novel, “No Safe Word: An Adventure in Horror,” about an FBI agent who is captured by a serial killer.
“The book is not for children or the faint of heart, due to depictions of torture and sexual assault,” Cornejo advises. Source: lodinews.com.
