A Jacksonville, Fla., developer plans to build spec homes in the city’s historic Springfield neighborhood on 41 lots that it purchased for $11,000 each.
JWB Real Estate Capital is seeking approvals to build three- and four-bedroom homes of up to 2,200 square feet that will resemble the historic properties around them, the Jacksonville Business Journal reports.
The company — which was previously focused on buying foreclosures, rehabbing them and managing them for investors — will meet with the city’s historic preservation commission next week. Source: bizjournals.com
