The latest Inman News report on work and pay trends for real estate professionals is out today. "Real Estate Compensation in 2011: Changing Times in Work and Pay" is based on an online survey that gathered 1,054 responses on a range of questions about practices and trends in industry compensation and expenses.

For the first time, Inman News is publicly releasing some of the data and charts revealed in the survey, at: www.inman.com/reports/compensation2011, and is offering a free PDF download of the survey’s summary results.

Also, Inman News is offering a full version of the survey results as a paid download: www.inman.com/compensation2011, and an enhanced version of this report features some raw spreadsheet data from the survey and two previous Inman News real estate compensation reports that were released in 2009 and 2006.

The latest report includes a discussion of real estate commission rates for bank-owned properties (REOs) and short sales, and details real estate agent expenses and income.
