Under Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation umbrella, Move already owns these tech tools that power thousands of Realtors’ businesses every day. Now the company is packaging their most popular features into a single system and brand-new offering called “Realsuite” that agents can use to shepherd clients to closing.
The test product brings to life a concept that one agent described as the “holy grail that doesn’t exist” during Move’s field research, said Luke Glass, Move’s executive vice president of industry platforms. Agents can access the platform through a single password to manage all aspects of their business in one interface, he said.
“We took all of the most used most loved features from our existing product lines and put them into one interface with some enhancements, as well to make sure that our customers are getting that single log-in experience,” Glass said.
Move announced Realsuite at the realtor.com Results Summit today. The company is looking for agents to beta test the product over the next few months, with plans for an official launch in January. Pricing for the product hasn’t been disclosed, but participation in the beta test is free.
Other companies that are building end-to-end software for real estate agents include Zillow Group, Commissions Inc. and Placester.
The first component of the platform, Realsuite Respond, can pull leads into a contact database from roughly 150 sources, including Zillow and Trulia.
Consumers today “have extremely high expectations for responsiveness,” Glass said, and Realsuite Respond ensures that agents can meet those expectations through automated responses and prompts to reach out to leads via phone, text message and email. Agents can view and add notes to lead profiles and receive reminders to follow up after initial outreach.
Realsuite Connect, the second element of Realsuite, is dedicated to helping agents convert leads and manage clients.
The tool makes it easy for agents to share listings and other content with contacts, communicate with them and track their search activity on realtor.com.
The final piece of the platform is Realsuite Transact. It lets agents and their clients digitally share and sign paperwork, as well as track and update the progress of transactions. It licenses state real estate forms through a partnership with zipForms.
Synchronization with Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies adds accounting software, which agents can use to manage their finances and store transaction data.
Since Realsuite tracks leads to closing, the platform can offer agents new insight into the return on investment of various marketing channels.
“Now you have a real definitive view into how you’re marketing dollars are being spent, where the leads came from and ultimately which ones,” are worthy of further investment, Glass said.
Realsuite will continually integrate with “those third parties that make the most sense for our customers,” he said.
As for marketing the offering, Move will launch a campaign for Realsuite centered on the theme of “keep doing you.”
“Jess is a real estate rockstar,” a voiceover in a sample ad says. “Her secret is making custom playlists for each of her clients — and using Realsuite — it helps her capture, communicate and close.”
The message aims “to make sure that our customers believe that we believe Realtors are at the center of the transaction,” Glass said.
