In addition to discount offers from retailers, the new program ERA Moves allows agents to equip homebuyers with a concierge for setting up new utility accounts.

Real estate agents with ERA-affiliated brokerages can now easily serve up exclusive discounts and a concierge service to help their clients save time and money during the moving process.

Last week, the real estate franchisor announced a free automated program for affiliated agents and brokerages called ERA Moves.

“Now they [ERA-affiliated agents] are able to send true value-added communications, providing their clients with ways to manage their move and their lives, keeping the agent at the center of not just the homebuying experience, but the entire home ownership lifecycle,” said ERA Real Estate CEO Simon Chen, describing the program in a statement.

The program also gives affiliated brokers the chance to earn referral fees from vendors participating in the program, Chen noted. It’s powered by MooveGuru, a startup that can integrate with real estate productivity tools and databases to target an agent’s contacts with moving-related discounts.

Agents who sign up for the program can launch an automated email marketing campaign that sprinkles clients with agent-branded offers during and after the homebuying process.

The program can also equip homebuyers with a concierge to help with setting up utility accounts for their new home. This can cut a process that often takes over five hours down to 30 minutes, according to ERA.

The program is designed to help agents stay on the radar of past clients throughout their tenure in their new home. Clients continue to receive offers long after their purchase closes, raising the odds that their agent might receive a call in the future should they decide to move again.

Discounts offered through the program come from dozens of national retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond, Allstate and ADT. Agents can further customize those offerings by enrolling local vendors and merchants on the platform.
