Job Description

Inman is seeking a Director of Demand Generation Marketing to work with our sales team to drive the growth and quality of marketing qualified leads for our sales team. You will drive the planning, execution and success of marketing programs to hit lead commit targets and sales revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing demand generation programs that deliver qualified leads to a sales team; leveraging paid and organic programs to meet and exceed monthly lead commit goals; building lead nurture programs; and working with sales leadership to scale program to meet team goals.

You should be highly analytical, motivated by exceeding high performance standards, and enjoy designing and executing the programs that drive results. You’re comfortable designing, implementing and measuring the following: paid acquisition (e.g. SEM, paid social, display, etc.), marketing automation lifecycle email campaigns, content marketing and social media, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and execute demand generation programs to deliver qualified leads via paid and organic channels
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and return on investment to maximize results
  • Implement new technology and tracking to improve pipeline management and growth
  • Define and meet monthly lead commit volume to meet department growth and revenue goals
  • Experiment with paid and organic stratgies to identify the most promising, ROI-positive marketing channels
  • Work closely with the Inman sales team to refine programs and identify opportunities for growth
  • Work closely with Inman marketing, event and membership teams to identify cross-promotional opportunities to drive qualified leads

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • 3 to 5 years working in a demand generation marketing position/environment with lead commit responsibility
  • B2B marketing experience targeting business buyers with solutions and products ranging from $5 to $100k
  • Experience implementing lead acquisition programs via paid and organic marketing channels
  • Experience managing lead lifecycle management campaigns from lead to close
  • Proficiency in managing marketing automation systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketo
  • Proficiency in measuring return on investment and optimizing marketing program performance
  • Real estate experience a plus, but not required
