Inman is seeking an Events Marketing Manager to work with our events, marketing, sales, editorial and product teams to drive attendance, awareness, onsite experience, community and innovation around our real estate events. You will plan, organize and execute best-in-class registration growth initiatives for our global audience of real estate professionals and consumers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving strong event attendance growth, optimizing user messaging based on performance, and developing targeted messaging, and have a solid understanding of working with cross-functional teams to execute on best-in-class event experiences. Experience working with outside vendors is beneficial, as is a passion for process, organization, design, and attention to detail. A comprehensive grasp of the motivations behind driving ticket sales is essential, as well as being able to work closely with copywriters, designers and developers to execute on a clear set of growth objectives.

You should be highly organized, be able to work across many different teams, be motivated by exceeding high performance standards, and enjoy designing and executing projects that drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and execute on business and user-facing projects to drive event attendance
  • Support attendee retention and onsite experience efforts to ensure that our events are growing each year
  • Measure and optimize marketing and messaging effectiveness and return on investment to maximize results
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and event execution playbooks to operationalize our event marketing
  • Create innovative and effective solutions for fostering ticket sales
  • Communicate proactively around performance to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Oversee external creative initiatives with vendors such as onsite messaging and signage
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years event marketing and registration-driving experience
  • Experience with driving retention efforts for large-scale events
  • A proven track record of working with external vendors to execute on event creative
  • Solid understanding of project workflow techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Real estate or media experience a plus, but not required
