Inman is seeking a Marketing Insights Analyst to work with our product, marketing and development teams to develop and distribute actionable insights across our web and events platforms, and help to craft user-centric product enhancements for our audience of real estate professionals and consumers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in proactively surfacing insights into user behavior and experience, identifying patterns, understanding how cross-platform and subscription content can be optimized, and have the ability to communicate these learnings to a team of marketers, designers, developers, product owners and copywriters. You’ll also understand the latest trends around online engagement and be able to identify, segment and target specific groups of users in order to drive acquisition and retention efforts for our subscription and live events products.

You should be highly organized, able to work across many different teams, motivated by exceeding high performance standards, and excited by designing and executing on projects that drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, track and report results of projects and initiatives
  • Analyze user data to identify trends and develop product optimization recommendations
  • Create insightful funnels and dashboards based on campaign and user experience performance
  • Research and gather data on industry trends and developments
  • Proactively surface recommendations based on user behavior across mobile, desktop and our events
  • Develop a framework of regular reporting for use across editorial, sales, events and product teams
  • Work closely with our design, edit, sales and product teams to develop actionable insights

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years marketing and analytics experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Powerpoint
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity for the numbers
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Deadline oriented
  • Solid understanding of project workflow techniques
  • Real estate or media experience a plus, but not required
