Molly Bloom is an inspirational keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and bestselling author of Molly’s Game. She is best known for her memoir, Molly’s Game, which was adapted into an award-winning film of the same name by Aaron Sorkin. Bloom’s memoir chronicles her journey from college student to LA waitress to building and operating the largest and most notorious private poker game in the world. Bloom was finishing her degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado – Boulder, and was in the process of applying to top tier Law Schools, when her assistant job turned her into an accidental entrepreneur, running one of the most exclusive, high-stakes underground poker games in the world, pulling in as much as $4 million per year. What happened next is where her story truly begins.

Manoush Zomorodi is co-founder of Stable Genius Productions, a media company with a mission to help people navigate personal and global change. Ryan Gorman was named President and Chief Executive Officer of NRT in 2018. In this capacity, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of NRT’s company-owned brokerage operations doing business under the Coldwell Banker® brand.

She holds a BS in Communications from Boston University and a Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.

Wendy is an accomplished athlete holding several marathon finishes as well as earning the coveted title of Ironman by crossing the finish line after 140.6 miles of swimming, biking and running.
Joseph Rand is one of the Managing Partners of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty and Rand Commercial Services, as well as the Managing Partner for our Hudson United home service companies: Hudson United Mortgage, Hudson Abstract Mortgage, and Hudson United Insurance Group. As an attorney, he also acts as General Counsel for all our real estate companies.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Georgetown University Law School, and with a masters degree from Stanford Law School, Mr. Rand came to the Rand family of companies after a career as an attorney and law professor. After law school, he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and then joined the prestigious international law firm of Debevoise &Plimpton in the litigation department. Following a few years in private practice, he went on to a career in legal academia, getting a teaching fellowship at Stanford Law School and then joining the faculty at Brooklyn Law School and later Fordham Law School. He started with the Rand family of real estate companies in 2002.
As Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty's General Counsel, Mr. Rand represents the company, its employees, and its 800 agents. His responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining ethical standards, and representing the company and its agents in any legal disputes. Because of his educational background, Mr. Rand is also involved with Rand's extensive new agent and ongoing education and training programs. He has spoken at numerous national conventions on agent education and compliance issues.
Joseph Rand is also an active blogger, writing for the RandRealty.com "Market Intelligence Blog" as well as his real estate education blog "The World's Best Real Estate Agent." He also maintains a personal blog about his experiences moving to the suburbs from the city, the "Move to Suma."
Amy began her RE/MAX career in 2003 as a Sales Associate in Albuquerque, N.M., where she eventually led a top-producing sales team. In 2008, she moved to Denver and joined RE/MAX LLC as a Franchise Development Consultant for the RE/MAX Carolinas Region. In 2010, she was promoted to Director of the RE/MAX Central Atlantic Region.
In 2011, Amy's focus shifted from regional operations to education, and she joined RE/MAX University as Director of Broker Training. Pat has enjoyed a lengthy career in real estate and real estate related services, including “C” officer positions with three public companies and as a director on two Fortune 500 Boards. The senior executive management positions included nine years as President and COO of the nation’s largest title insurance company, Chairman and Co-CEO of a software company and CEO of a real estate data and information company.

TaLisa Bealum is a managing broker for the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Auburn office in California. David C. Kully is an antitrust attorney in Holland & Knight’s Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Kully has extensive antitrust experience and joined the firm after serving as Chief (2013-16) and Assistant Chief (2008-13) of the Litigation III Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division, where he supervised a team of 25 attorneys. Benjamin Morse is a visiting lecturer at UNLV’s Greenspun College of Urban Affairs in the Journalism & Media Studies program. He currently teaches classes in Public Relations and Podcasting, and has also led courses covering Social Media and Integrated Marketing.
After graduating Connecticut College in 2004 with an undergraduate degree in English, Morse moved to New York where he pursued a career in the comic book industry. He began working at Marvel Entertainment in 2007 and spent the next decade rising through the ranks from Assistant Editor of Marvel.com to Editorial Director of Digital Media. In addition to writing and editing content for digital use, Morse helped create and host This Week in Marvel, Marvel’s official podcast, and produced the stop motion animated series Marvel Super Heroes: What The—?!

Angela was born and raised just outside of Liverpool, England and immigrated to Canada as a young adult 26 years ago. She resides just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, where she is raising her 3 teenage sons.

In January 2005, David Adam Kurz arrived to the city of Miami with two things: dedication and innovation. Originally from the Bronx and an active Marine since 1994, he had just finished his final tour, and was ready to embark on a journey he claims is in its own way tougher than war—the journey of entrepreneurship.
But Kurz wasted no time. In the years to follow, he was busy operating one of the most highly respected real estate teams at Douglas Elliman, the fourth largest real estate brokerage in the United States. It was there that Kurz realized real estate is more than just a job servicing others—it’s about building professional relationships that last a lifetime.
In the summer of 2016, Kurz opened the doors to Kurz Real Estate, Corp and grew like no one had ever seen before reaching 80+ agents in his first year! During the first year Kurz was featured in several publications for the fast growth and awarded for success. The recipient of the Entrepreneurial Start Up of the Year for Miami, Most Innovative Marketing Award, Top 100 Most Influential Agents and finally a nomination for Most Innovative Brokerage in the country by Inman.
Kurz doesn’t just believe client connections are important in the industry: on a path and mission to better the incoming real estate generation of Miami, Kurz’s drive, innovative thinking and belief in collaborating with others led him to start his own real estate brokerage, Kurz Real Estate Corp, where he is President and a noncompeting broker and mentor to young professionals and new entrants of all ages to the industry.

Kurz’s efforts in real estate expand beyond his experience in the office. He is also a thought leader and advisor as the host of his own Real Estate Show. You can listen to him and his teams discuss the market and industry topics every Thursday at 4 p.m. on the Real Talk Show, aired on FaceBook Live @KurzRealEstate. But he continues to add even more to his marketing repertoire, acting as publisher for the company’s own Kurz Real Estate marketing management system which is live and digital online, and even co-authored a book laying out the plan that he himself follows for building a successful business called The Blueprint: Strategies for Building a Successful Real Estate Business, which was published in November 2016. With the second book, TAKE ACTION released in August of 2017. He is most proud of Take Action because he believes it is helping agents and business owners develop the attitude needed to be in business! Now David has his eyes and efforts set on his third book which he claims can change the mentality of a generation accustomed to failure. You will have to wait for that one but it is expected to be released in late 2019 or early 2020.
Aside from his work in the field, David Kurz is also active in giving back to his community. He served as President for the Miami Chapter of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) for 2 years, a national non-profit with focus on veteran homeownership and veteran financial literacy. As a veteran himself, he feels obligated to give back to his peers. With his wife Jennyffer, they launched the Kurz Kares Foundation. The Kurz Kares Foundation is a charity designed to slow gentrification by enhancing communities for working families.
When Kurz is not working, he enjoys boating, riding his Harley Davidson, trying out new restaurants, and simply learning more about Miami and the surrounding markets. He and his amazing fiancé love to travel and focus on making that a part of their lives. He has 4 beautiful daughters and 2 crazy pups! He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Steve Buice has been in the real estate industry for 38 years. Steve started his career in 1979 with First American Title.
He is now with Keller Williams supporting over 100 agents with photography, video and drone services.
He is now the president of PhotoPerfectApp. The patent pending delivery technology of important content to agents and home buyers and sellers.
The app provides for video and texting, along with photo editing image improvements. The PhotoPerfectApp came into reality when lighting became a daily struggle and too much time was needed to produce a good photo.
Now images are created in less than 10 seconds and are ready to go into the MLS within 2 minutes of photographing any home.
Steve and his business partner have also created an Open House service that will be implemented in the next few months.
Chris' passion is building software that connects people. He's held engineering and product roles at OkCupid Labs and Facebook respectively. Often contrarian, Chris loves to apply modern twists on an old techniques to create greater impact. Addressable's patented handwriting technology is a great example. The cards written by little robots hold actual blue ballpoint pens always get a reaction. Having lived in the Bay Area for the last 9 years, Chris is fascinated by its dynamic real estate market and the role technology is playing to further it's growth.
Jason Pace joined Quicken Loans in 2004 as a Mortgage Banker, before being promoted to Director in 2006. In 2010, under his leadership, his banking team was the top revenue producing team in the company. The next year, Jason was promoted to Regional Vice President, and in 2013, he was recognized within Quicken Loans as the Most Valuable Regional Vice President.
As Regional Vice President, Jason oversaw refinance streamlining and client retention efforts before getting tapped to head the banking specialty group. In that role, Jason worked with banking business development partners to strengthen our Charles Schwab partnership, Mortgage Insiders, Relocation, and Spanish-speaking groups.
In October of 2015, Jason was promoted to Senior Vice President of Refi New Development. Jason worked with a group of Regional Vice Presidents to formalize a concentrated training and development program for new bankers, and once completed, Jason was promoted to Senior Vice President of Purchase New Development, Purchase Power Banking, Agent Relationship Managers, and additional Purchase Specialty Regions. He has been an integral part in driving purchase production and increasing market share, and Jason’s love for banking and passion for leadership are evident in all he does.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Western Michigan University.
He resides in Clarkston, Michigan with his wife Kristin and their two sons, Parker and Jackson.
Charis is the Vice President of Sales for NextHome, Inc., and is responsible for the company’s growth and national expansion. She brings a unique blend of sales, management, technology and leadership skills to the organization establishing a successful footprint in the market place. Her deep understanding of how technology can be applied to helping brokers and agents become more productive and successful in today’s real estate environment is one of the many reasons why the company, and it’s franchisees are growing so quickly.
Previous to NextHome, Charis spent five and a half years as the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Trulia where she oversaw all broker and franchisor relationships for the western half of the U.S. During her tenure at Trulia, she was responsible for growing sales and maintaining a book of business that included over 400 major brokerages and thousands of real estate agents. Prior to joining Trulia in 2009, Charis was the Vice President of Inside Sales for REALTOR.com where she grew and managed a team of 7 managers with over 150 sales representatives. Charis regularly speaks at local, regional, and national real estate conferences, sits on various industry panels and hosts webinars on how to effectively leverage technology to be more productive and connect with consumers.
Charis studied general education and pre-nursing at Moorpark Jr. College, and served four years in the U.S. Navy.
