Sarah Friar

Prior to serving as Nextdoor’s CEO, Sarah was CFO of Square. Under Sarah’s leadership, Square launched its initial public offering in 2015 and added $30Bn in market cap. Before her tenure at Square, Sarah served as SVP of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce. Sarah also held executive roles at Goldman Sachs, as well as leadership positions at McKinsey in both London and South Africa. Sarah sits on the boards of Walmart and Slack, and is currently the Board Vice-Chair of Spark, a nonprofit serving at-risk middle school students through mentorship. Sarah earned her MEng in Metallurgy, Economics, and Management from the University of Oxford and her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar.

Marc Brackett

Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Professor in the Child Study Center at Yale University. His research focuses on the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in learning, decision making, creativity, relationships, health, and performance.

Kate Darling

A leading expert in robot ethics, Dr. Kate Darling is a research specialist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, where she investigates social robotics and conducts experimental studies on human-robot interaction. Exclusively represented by Leading Authorities speakers bureau, she explores the emotional connection between people and life-like machines, seeking to influence technology design and policy direction. Dr. Darling’s writing and research anticipate difficult questions that lawmakers, engineers, and the wider public will need to address as human-robot relationships evolve in the coming decades.

Forever interested in how technology intersects with society, she has a background in law and economics as well as intellectual property. Dr. Darling has researched economic incentives in copyright and patent systems and has taken a role as intellectual property expert at multiple academic and private institutions. Named one of the “Women in Robotics You Need to Know About” by Robohub, she currently serves as intellectual property policy advisor to the director of the MIT Media Lab.

Her passion for technology and robots has led her to interdisciplinary fields. After co-teaching a robot ethics course at Harvard Law School with Professor Lawrence Lessig, she increasingly works at the intersection of law and robotics, with a focus on legal and social issues. Kate is a former fellow and current affiliate at the Harvard Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and a former fellow at the Yale Information Society Project and is also an affiliate at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.

Kate’s work has been featured in Vogue, The New Yorker, The Guardian, BBC, NPR, PBS, The Boston Globe, Forbes, CBC, WIRED magazine, Boston Magazine, The Atlantic, Slate, Die Zeit, The Japan Times, and many more major publications and outlets. She is a contributing writer to Robohub and IEEE Spectrum and speaks and holds workshops covering some of the more interesting developments in the world of robotics, and where we might find ourselves in the future.

Kate graduated from law school with honors and holds a doctorate of sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and an honorary doctorate of sciences from Middlebury College. In 2017, the American Bar Association honored her legal work with the Mark T. Banner award in Intellectual Property. She was also recognized in 2017 as a “Radar Thinker” by Thinkers50. She is the caretaker for several domestic robots, including her Pleos Yochai, Peter, and Mr. Spaghetti.

Jeffrey Detwiler

Jeff Detwiler is the president and chief executive officer of The Long & Foster Companies.  In this capacity, he focuses on guiding the strategic direction of the organization, including the operations of the seven business lines: real estate, property management, mortgage, settlement services, insurance, corporate real estate services, and new development real estate sales and marketing.  In addition to the businesses, he oversees six enterprise functions: human resources, legal, marketing, information services, finance and facilities.

The Long & Foster Companies operate in seven states across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions and the District of Columbia. It has more than 230 locations, 1,800 employees and 11,000 real estate agents.

Detwiler has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services field which includes mortgage banking, fixed income trading and traditional banking. He graduated from Princeton in 1983.

Ryan Schneider

Ryan Schneider joined Realogy as President and Chief Operating Officer in October 2017 after nearly 15 years of senior leadership experience at Capital One Financial Corporation. He is a member of Realogy’s Board of Directors, and will become Realogy’s Chief Executive Officer effective December 31, 2017.
From 2007 to 2016, Schneider was President of Capital One’s Card division, its largest business, where he oversaw all of Capital One’s consumer and small business credit card lines in the United States, U.K. and Canada. He managed a staff of more than 10,000 employees and reported directly to Capital One’s Chief Executive Officer.
Schneider joined Capital One in 2002 and held a variety of leadership positions within Capital One through 2007, including Executive Vice President and President, Auto Finance, which did the majority of its business with franchised auto dealers, and Executive Vice President, U.S. Card. He also served as a director of Capital One Bank (USA), National Association.
Schneider has substantial experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, including meeting with a sitting President of the United States and testifying in front of a Senate committee.
Previously, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in financial services clients with an emphasis on consumer credit and insurance. Schneider received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University.

Dessa (Margret Wander)

Dessa is a rapper, a singer, an essayist, and a proud member of the Minneapolis-based Doomtree hip-hop crew. She’s performed around the world at opera houses and rock clubs and while standing on barroom tables. She’s landed on the Billboard Top 200 Albums list as a solo artist (Parts of Speech, Chime), as a Doomtree member (All Hands), and as a contributor to The Hamilton Mixtape. As a writer, her work has appeared in The New York TimesStar TribuneMinnesota Monthly, and literary journals across the country. My Own Devices, her hardcover collection of essays, was published in September 2018 by Dutton Books (Penguin Random House). She now splits her time between Manhattan, Minnesota, and a tour van cruising at six miles per hour above the posted limit.

Nate Bowling

Entering his twelfth year in the classroom, Nate Bowling is veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves and a graduate of the Evergreen State College. He was a 2014 recipient of the Milken Family Foundation's National Educator Award, the 2016 Washington State Teacher of the Year, and was one of four finalists for 2016 National Teacher of the Year. Nate was also a recipient of the 2016 Joseph Albert Dear Distinguished Alumni Award from Evergreen. He blogs about teaching, matters of justice, and educational equity issues at natebowling.com and is the host of the Nerd Farmer Podcast. Nate is also a co-founder of Teachers United, a teacher-led education policy advocacy group and he currently teaches AP Human Geography and AP Government & Politics at Lincoln High School, in his hometown of Tacoma.

Daryl Fairweather

Daryl Fairweather is the chief economist of Redfin. Prior to joining Redfin she was a senior economist at Amazon working on problems related to employee engagement and managing a team of analysts. During the housing crisis, Daryl worked as a researcher at the Boston Fed studying why homeowners entered foreclosure. Daryl received her Bachelor's of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her Ph.D. and Master's degrees in economics at the University of Chicago where she specialized in behavioral economics. Ryan Serhant

Sherry Chris

Sherry Chris was appointed president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC in October of 2007.  Her appointment followed Realogy’s announcement that it had entered into a 50-year agreement with Meredith Corporation, with a renewal option for another 50 years, to license the Better Homes and Gardens® name to launch a new and dynamic global residential real estate brand.

Sherry has more than 30 years of real estate experience, including, significant senior management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, new technologies, and franchise management.  A native of Canada, she began her real estate career in Ontario and held increasingly senior positions with Royal LePage for 16 years before taking on executive roles within notable US brokerages.  She joined Realogy in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.

Well-known for her innovative thinking, next generation consumer insights and idea sharing in an effort to move the industry forward, Sherry is a frequently sought after speaker at international real estate and technology conferences. She is also recurrently featured by national media outlets such as FOX Business and CNBC for her insights into industry reports and trends.

Sherry serves on the advisory boards for Realtor.com and Zillow and has been part of a number of industry and technology-related advisory boards, including Trulia and Google Real Estate.  In addition, she is the vice chair of the national board of directors at the non-profit organization, Rebuilding Together and vice chair of the real estate services advisory board at NAR.

David Friedman

David Friedman is a pioneer and serial entrepreneur in the wealth training, data and intelligence arena.  Mr. Friedman is a noted author and speaker on UHNW trends, business development practices and his opinions on a broad range of topics involving the ultra-wealthy have been featured in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The Guardian, Investment News, Financial Times and The Telegraph.  He has been a frequent television commentator on the ultra-wealthy for the BBC, FOX, WSJ and Bloomberg.

Margy Grant

Margaret "Margy" Grant is Florida Realtors® Chief Operating Officer General Counsel.  As COO of Florida Realtors, Margy works alongside the CEO to provide products, tools and services to over 180,000 Realtor members statewide.  She is both a CAE and RCE. As General Counsel, Margy also serves as the chief legal officer of Florida Realtors® responsible for legal affairs impacting the association and oversees its team of attorneys. She has been named a “Lawyer of Distinction.”

Margy has been named Florida Realtors® next Chief Executive Officer as of January 1, 2019.

Margy is a native of New England and joined Florida Realtors in 2008 from the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® where she served for 7 years as the Associate General Counsel.  Margy received her B.A. Degree at the University of New Hampshire and received her J.D., cum laude, at Suffolk University Law School.  Margy is a member of the Bar in California (inactive), Massachusetts and Florida.

Wendy Forsythe

Wendy has leveraged her passion for real estate, operations and branding to help build successful real estate networks in both Canada and the United States. Ginger Wilcox

Joe Rand

Joseph Rand is one of the Managing Partners of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty and Rand Commercial Services, as well as the Managing Partner for our Hudson United home service companies: Hudson United Mortgage, Hudson Abstract Mortgage, and Hudson United Insurance Group.  As an attorney, he also acts as General Counsel for all our real estate companies.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Georgetown University Law School, and with a masters degree from Stanford Law School, Mr. Rand came to the Rand family of companies after a career as an attorney and law professor.  After law school, he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and then joined the prestigious international law firm of Debevoise &Plimpton in the litigation department.  Following a few years in private practice, he went on to a career in legal academia, getting a teaching fellowship at Stanford Law School and then joining the faculty at Brooklyn Law School and later Fordham Law School. He started with the Rand family of real estate companies in 2002.

As Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty's General Counsel, Mr. Rand represents the company, its employees, and its 800 agents. His responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining ethical standards, and representing the company and its agents in any legal disputes. Because of his educational background, Mr. Rand is also involved with Rand's extensive new agent and ongoing education and training programs. He has spoken at numerous national conventions on agent education and compliance issues.

Joseph Rand is also an active blogger, writing for the RandRealty.com "Market Intelligence Blog" as well as his real estate education blog "The World's Best Real Estate Agent."  He also maintains a personal blog about his experiences moving to the suburbs from the city, the "Move to Suma."

Matt Harris

Matt started his investing career at Bain Capital private equity in 1995, having worked previously at Bain & Company, and attended Williams College, where he majored in rugby. In 2000, Matt founded Village Ventures, which he ran for 12 years and where he focused on early-stage fintech investing. In 2012 he rejoined Bain Capital Ventures.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending any free moments with his wife, Jessica, and their five children. Matt serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, a regional theater associated with Williams College. He is a Senior Advisor to Endeavor, an organization leading the global movement to catalyze long-term economic growth by selecting, mentoring and accelerating the best high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. He is obsessed with military history, and some day will write a book connecting the strategy and tactics of insurgency with what he has learned about entrepreneurship.

Christine Kim

As President of Climb Real Estate, Christine Kim is responsible for overseeing all aspects of brokerage operations for all company-owned offices. In addition to guiding the company’s growth, Christine is actively increasing Climb’s footprint locally and nationwide as one of the few Asian-American women leaders in the real estate brokerage industry. Her mission has been to revolutionize and improve the real estate experience by using technology and innovation to connect people, neighborhoods, and properties. She is a recognized leader in real estate and business communities. She served as the founding chapter president (2010-2012) for the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Silicon Valley and as a national board member (2012-2013) of AREAA National, the largest national non-profit trade organization promoting sustainable homeownership through education and active participation in the local community. Christine also served as president of the Korean American Professional Society (KAPS) from 2005-2007 and now serves as an advisor to the organization.

Christine was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She is a classically trained, award-winning pianist and enjoys golf, travel, and investing in real estate opportunities around the country. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and currently resides in San Francisco, CA.

Katie Ragusa

Real estate is in Katie’s blood. She's a second generation REALTOR and comes to TRIBUS after working for a prominent custom home builder in metro Atlanta, GA. While selling homes, she realized she had a passion for helping agents establish a meaningful web presence and a build CRM that worked. Since then, she's become a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and graduated from a UX program, all while staying grounded in real estate technology. Her background in the industry and her training in psychology have paved the way for her current user experience focused role, where she leads the product team at TRIBUS.

Valerie Garcia

Valerie is truly passionate about helping others embrace change. As an international Real Estate speaker and consultant, she is known for delivering encouragement and truth with her signature straightforward style and sense of humor. By focusing on the importance of overcoming fear, adapting to new ideas, and putting the customer first, Valerie’s sessions speak to the very heart of our industry.

Ryan Gorman

Ryan Gorman was named President and Chief Executive Officer of NRT in 2018. In this capacity, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of NRT’s company-owned brokerage operations doing business under the Coldwell Banker® brand.

Gorman most recently served as Chief Strategy and Operating Officer of NRT and as its Senior Vice President, Strategic Operations where he brought a heightened focus on service delivery, defined a comprehensive integrated growth strategy and leveraged the resources of NRT and Realogy to drive a superior experience for affiliated agents, employees and customers.

Since joining NRT, Gorman has worked with the leadership team to craft and refine new strategic and operating plans throughout the company, in addition to launching NRT’s property management business. During his Realogy career, Gorman led the company’s strategic acquisition of ZipRealty as well as Title Resource Group’s acquisition of the title insurance agency and title insurance underwriting operations of Texas American Title Company and Cartus’ acquisition of Primacy Relocation.

Prior to joining NRT in May 2012, Gorman was the Corporate Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Development for Realogy Corporation, NRT’s parent company. In that role, he oversaw strategic development and merger and acquisition activities for Realogy and its four business units. Gorman was the driving force behind TRG’s acquisition of Texas American Title Company, Cartus’ acquisition of Primacy Relocation and NRT’s acquisition of Coldwell BankerPreferred in Philadelphia. He also contributed significant strategy work for Realogy’s world-renowned brands and franchisees.

Before joining Realogy in 2004, Gorman held advisory and principal investment roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Transaction Services, Philadelphia, Pa.), Credit Suisse (CS First Boston’s Technology Investment Banking Group, Palo Alto, Calif.), and The Blackstone Group (Blackstone Debt Advisors, New York City). He graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Thompson

Kevin D. Thompson serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC.  In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and implementing all marketing, interactive, digital, advertising, and public relations initiatives for the Sotheby’s International Realty® brand.

With an extensive background working with globally recognized luxury brands, Thompson’s focus and passion are centered on creating an unparalleled customer experience through exceptional marketing and brand management.  His unique perspective contributes to innovative ideas for developing systems and campaigns that complement the Sotheby's International Realty brand vision.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC, Thompson was vice president of marketing and customer experience for Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail real estate ownership, management and development.  He has also held senior positions within globally recognized brands, most recently at Barney’s New York and Gucci.  Thompson’s well-rounded executive leadership experience spans across an array of specialties including marketing, management, project development, operations, training, and sales forecasting, in a variety of industries, such as, luxury fashion, real estate and public institutions.

An active speaker at events, Thompson has delivered keynote addresses, hosted executive roundtable discussions and has been asked to lead discussions at national and international marketing conferences on a variety of topics; his core focus being the evolution of brands, their role in influencing consumer behavior and the power of brands to change the world for the better. In 2018, Thompson was featured on the unprecedented and definitive CMO Next List by Forbes.

Thompson is a Co-founder of Ruiru Rising, a not-for-profit organization that funds higher education programs for at-risk youth in rural Kenya.  A native of Canada, Thompson is a graduate of the University of Guelph in Ontario and holds a graduate degree from Simon Fraser University.  He currently resides in New York State.

Denee Evans

Denee Evans is the chief executive officer of the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS), which is the largest professional organization dedicated to the multiple listing service (MLS) industry in North America. It currently consists of 234 members, including 163 MLS providers that represent about one million subscribers.

As CEO, Evans is responsible for implementing the organization’s strategic plan, overseeing its daily operations, and empowering members to stay ahead of advancing technology, legal issues, and cutting-edge management practices. She is also moving the organization forward to shape the future of the MLS industry.

Evans has a proven track record of leading organizations into the future by developing new industry models. As the executive director of EnergyFit Nevada, she transformed an official Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Quality Assurance/Quality Control evaluation initiative into a statewide collaborative authority on energy efficiency by raising public awareness about energy efficiency, providing $14.5 million of lifetime energy savings to homeowners, and infusing $5 million into local economies in Nevada.

Today, she serves on the organization’s board of directors. Prior, she developed the low interest revolving loan fund for energy efficiency retrofits that became an industry model for Nevada after nearly a decade of experience as a recognized executive with two Fortune 500 financial institutions.

As an executive, Evans has been recognized by the United States Green Building Council, Las Vegas Business Press, and the Denver Board of Realtors Affiliate Council. She has also been a featured speaker for several organizations, including Young Nonprofit Professionals, Alliance to Save Energy, and ACI National Conference.

Evans earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, with an emphasis in real estate, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has earned several professional designations, including LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council and Series 7, 66, Life & Health investment licenses while at American Express Financial Advisors.

Her passion is to strengthen communities through financial investment, real estate development, innovation, and technology. She lives in Las Vegas with her husband of 15 years and their two children.

Rebecca Jensen

Rebecca is the President and CEO of Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED).  She has worked in the MLS industry since 1998 and for eight years, she was the CEO of Utah’s regional MLS, UtahRealEstate.com.  She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and she has also earned an MBA in technology commercialization from Westminster College.  She is a member of the Executive Committee for the COVE MLS group, serves on committees at the National Association of Realtors, and she is a member of the MLS Executive Advisory Board at Realtor.com.
During her tenure at UtahRealEstate.com MLS (URE), Rebecca led the effort to develop, and successfully deploy a new in-house MLS platform, including an integrated public facing website and mobile apps.  URE grew to provide service for over 90% of Utah's Realtors due to the MLS consolidation efforts she led.
Rebecca also diversified the MLS's offering by expanding services to property managers. This enabled her to create the Property Pond Rentals Platform, which included a consumer facing website for rental properties and mobile apps.
Rebecca was elected to the Board of The Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) in the fall of 2010.  She became the Board Chair in January 2011 where she served in that capacity until 2015.  During her time as Chair, she was able to develop and implement a sustainable long-term strategic plan, which included restructuring the entity to gain more support from the industry.  This resulted in RESO successfully creating the first real estate data dictionary, web API standard, and compliance programs.  In 2014, The National Association of Realtors approved a policy that required all MLS's to adopt RESO's standards.  This was a tremendous milestone for the industry.
Rebecca is one of Inman News 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate, Swanepoel 200 Most Powerful People in Residential Real Estate as well as being a Utah Business Magazine Forty Under 40 Honoree.

Hoby Wedler

Hoby Wedler has been blind since birth. Dr. Wedler earned a Ph.D. in chemistry at UC Davis and he recently co-founded Senspoint Design, a sensory advising and education company. Senspoint partners with clients around the world  to give them the sensory and inclusive insight they need to succeed. Senspoint has a diverse client base across numerous industries where they enhance brands through both product and experience design and through sensory-directed sales and marketing. Senspoint also focuses on sensory-based ideation to enhance their clients’ ability to innovate and develop. Justin Vallandingham is the other co-founder of Senspoint Design and currently serves as Senspoint’s COO. Justin has an established career in business, from retail to project management and software implementation. Justin and Hoby are passionate about making the world universally accessible and inclusive to everyone. This passion they share is reflected in their work.

David Charron

David is President of MRIS Investors, Inc. and Chairs its Investment Committee. He is a founding member of COVE, an industry think tank. He is immediate past Chair of CMLS and just completed his term as Director for the National Association of Realtors. David most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer for Bright MLS that facilitated $95.0B in residential real estate transactions in 2018. He has served as Chair of the National Broker Portal, the Board of Midwest Real Estate Data, the REALTORS® Federal Credit Union as well as the NAR MLS Policy Committee.

From 2001 to 2017 David served as the CEO of MRIS, Inc. one of the nation's largest Multiple Listing Services that facilitated over $50.0B annually in residential real estate transactions. He was previously President of Net Input, an Internet-based business consulting practice serving Fortune 500 clients in apparel, media, sports and real estate. From 1980 to 1997, he managed organizations that successfully defined, marketed and delivered information systems to Real Estate professionals.

Since 2012 he has been a frequent contributor to the Washington Post covering the region's housing market and trends. David often serves as a keynote speaker and panelist for industry events.

Clelia Peters

Clelia Warburg Peters joined Warburg Realty in 2014 and currently serves as President of the firm, bringing experience in strategic business development, cutting edge technology, and investing to her role. Clelia works closely with her father, CEO Frederick Warburg Peters, in managing and growing one of New York's oldest and most respected real estate brokerages.

Glenn Sanford

Glenn had important roles at Internet start-ups before launching a real estate career in 2002. In his fourth year in real estate with a major national franchisor, his team closed more than $60 million in real estate by connecting with consumers online, and Glenn was a significant contributor to the franchisor’s internet lead generation program.

Glenn believed that agents and brokers do the heavy lifting in real estate and deserve benefits of being a shareholder in their company and income based on the level of their contribution. In early 2007, Glenn launched BuyerTours Realty, LLC, a combination of web and traditional bricks-and-mortar offices. During the economic downturn in 2008, Glenn had an idea for how to save overhead costs associated with owning a brick-and-mortar brokerage and give agents the opportunity to be shareholders in their company. In October 2009, eXp Realty, LLC launched as the first cloud-based, national real estate brokerage. eXp Realty’s virtual office environment compared to the traditional real estate office allows agents to collaborate and learn together, no matter where they might be located.

Kevin Foreman

Kevin leads the INRIX Big Data and GeoAnalytics business. Previously, he ran the company’s Consumer Mobile App team and its leading INRIX Traffic app which helps consumers save time and frustration by avoiding traffic.

Prior to INRIX, Foreman was CEO of Point Inside, Inc, the leading developer of indoor mapping and navigation mobile applications. Foreman was also the CEO of Bevy, Inc. a leading social shopping Facebook application developer and is today considered an industry expert in helping businesses with their mobile and social media strategies.

Previously, Kevin spent nearly a decade at RealNetworks in various mobile, product development and developer relations roles. Most notable of his accomplishments was creating a community of open source and commercial source developers building a cross platform media platform – Helix.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Scott Petronis

Scott is the Chief Product & Technology Officer for Redefy, a consumer-driven company that leverages technology and data to help clients buy and sell real estate at a significant cost-advantage. Lauren Nemeth

Lauren Nemeth is the Chief Revenue Officer at Nextdoor, the free and private social network for neighborhoods. Nemeth joined Nextdoor from Amobee, a leading global digital marketing technology company, where she served served as Chief Revenue Officer. He currently serves on the board of directors of XCellAir, Inc., and is the founding president of the Heart of Texas Robotics and STEM, a nonprofit that offers hands-on learning opportunities for K - 12 students and organizes citywide robotics events in Austin, Texas.

Jordan Levine

Jena Turner

Jena Turner started in real estate after opening a few small businesses in other fields along the way at age 25. Mark Tepper

For the past 18+ years, Mark has helped grow many small technology startups into successful, profitable businesses. In the late 90s, he began his career in real estate technology at Bamboo.com, the first virtual tour company, which subsequently merged with iPIX before it was acquired by Realtor.com. Mark has remained in real estate technology industry, working for the small company Connecting Neighbors, which was then acquired by Reply.com. Lynn Johnson

Born in Raleigh, NC, Lynn has spent her entire life in the Triangle and now spend her days helping others find beauty in a state that she loves.

Real estate has always been an interest of hers, starting as a young girl that loved to tour homes and sketch floor plans. After graduating from Campbell University with a degree in Family Studies, Lynn knew her path would lead her to an opportunity to help others.

Billy Ekofo

Born in the USA, but of Congolese origins, Billy’s life and aspiration continues to be marked by his relentless pursuit for socially responsible meaning in his professional and personal life. At the age of 17 years old, he fled the Democratic Republic of The Congo (DRC) due to the civil unrest, and had to begin his life anew in the US. It was while attending business school that his passion for social entrepreneurship deepened - the notion that businesses can leverage their resources, profits, and services for the betterment of the community was of true interests, and something Billy aspired to do.

Prior to founding KW Labs, Adi worked as the Sr. Technology Research Analyst at KWRI conducting large-scale research studies on technology trends within the real estate industry as well as other parallel markets. John DiMichele is the Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). Katie Clancy

Greg Robertson is the co-founder of W&R Studios. Emily Chenevert

Emily Chenevert is the chief executive officer of the Austin Board of REALTORS®, a 13,000-member organization with a $15 million annual budget. She is the youngest and first female CEO hired by the organization.

Emily began her tenure at ABoR as director of public and government affairs, where she managed campaigns for housing affordability and advocated for private property rights of homeowners. She has a long track record of advocating for REALTORS® and their businesses at local, state and national levels of government. Under her tenure of leadership at ABoR, she has regionalized ABoR’s footprint and member services, championed MLS listings data integrity standards, and led ABoR through two five-year strategic plans and a successful rebrand.

Emily has a wealth of industry knowledge at both the national and local level, particularly in Central Texas. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin, she managed relationships with REALTOR® associations for the Texas Association of REALTORS®. Felicia Hengle

Felicia Hengle is a respected leader with extensive real life experience in the real estate industry including 15 years as a top performing agent, 4 years as the former CEO/Team Leader of a large Keller Williams office in the Cleveland area, and her current position in Ohio as the President of Coldwell Banker for the Schmidt Family of Companies.

Leo Pareja

Aaron Strout

Aaron has nearly 25 years of marketing experience, with a strong background in mobile, social and digital marketing. Prior to joining W2O, Aaron spent time as the CMO of Powered Inc. (now part of Sprinklr), VP of Social Media at online community provider, Mzinga, and as Director of Digital Marketing at Fidelity Investments.

Vernand Morency

Vernand is the founder of PrestoIntelligence, the first technology-enabled home inspection platform that leverages cutting edge technology (AI) to enhance the consumer experience and increase inspector quantitative and qualitative inspections.  PrestoIntelligence streamlines the inspection process and allows consumers to order a home inspection with a single text message and have an inspector in their area select and perform their job in real-time.

Vernand Morency grew up in Miami, Florida.  His parents, immigrants from Haiti, had him working in their family real estate business at the early age of 5.  This experience impacted him tremendously and helped shape a strong, disciplined work ethic which translated into successful careers in professional baseball, football, and real estate.

Through his professional sports career, his love for real estate never wavered.  In 2006-2007, Vernand participated in a syndicate group led by T. Boone Pickens to develop the $250M “Boone Pickens Stadium” at his alma mater, Oklahoma State University.  He was also an intricate part the City Center of DC, Washington, DC, $1.4 billion development project.

Josh Seiff

Josh is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy at HouseCanary. Josh has more than a dozen years’ experience in the mortgage markets as an analyst, trader and portfolio manager. Dawn Perry is responsible for all marketing and communication initiatives with a goal of driving leads to affiliates, building brand awareness and delivering brand value. Michael Williamson

A native Angeleno, Michael Williamson has seen the evolution of the Los Angeles real estate market over the past thirty-five years firsthand. “I got my real estate license straight out of high school, and the rest is history,” he says. Michael has worked for some of the top agencies in Los Angeles, including Jon Douglas Company, Prudential California Realty, the John Aaroe Group, and Chartwell Escrow prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty.

Michael’s experience and innate ability to connect with his clients led him to become a top producer year after year. Susan Daimler

As senior vice president, Susan oversees the strategy, sales and operations of Zillow Group’s Premier Agent and Premier Broker business. In 2015, Inman named Susan among the 33 people changing the real estate industry. Susan previously served as SVP and GM of Zillow Group’s NYC brand, StreetEasy.

Susan joined Zillow in October 2012 after the company’s acquisition of Buyfolio, a co-shopping platform for real estate agents and their homebuyers, which she co-founded in 2009 (she came up with the idea while shopping for an apartment in NYC). Gary Beasley

Gary has spent most of his career building businesses in the real estate, hospitality and tech sectors. After earning his BA in economics from Northwestern, Gary ventured west to earn his MBA from Stanford, where he caught the entrepreneurial bug and still serves as a regular guest lecturer. Previously Gary was instrumental in acquiring and integrating more than $800 million of resort properties for KSL Resorts, and spent five years as CFO of online brokerage pioneer ZipRealty, which he led through its successful IPO in 2004. Fischer previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, a premier provider of full-service residential and commercial real estate and the oldest national real estate brand with more than 3,000 Coldwell Banker offices in 47 countries and territories. Fischer was responsible for Coldwell Banker’s internal operations, learning, recruiting, international and events groups, and was active in franchise sales activities.

Prior to that, Fischer was the Chief Marketing Officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate, overseeing the brand’s global marketing program. He joined the brand after spending 15 years at Nissan North America in various marketing and operational leadership roles.

Fischer earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, and later earned an MBA in marketing and finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a licensed REALTOR®.

Ashley Caputo

Ashley Caputo has over ten years of experience in the entertainment industry. She’s gone from music to movies, beginning her career at the Grammy’s. Adelina Rotar

Adelina Rotar is based in Austin, TX and is the Texas Region Partner for the Ben Kinney Companies.

In 2016, she launched the Ben Kinney Companies' first out-of-state sales team location in Keller Williams Realty's flagship office in Austin, TX, and built the largest expansion sales force start-up in the company's history.

Through the systems and models of the Ben Kinney Companies, she built the Austin team from scratch without being in production and with being a new resident of the area with no sphere. In 2004, he joined RE/MAX full-time as a Senior Franchise Development Consultant for the RE/MAX Mountain States Region. He was named Region Vice President the following year.

In 2007, soon after RE/MAX, LLC acquired the formerly independent RE/MAX California & Hawaii Region, Adam was named its Region Vice President. In 2010, he moved to the RE/MAX Florida Region, which under his leadership was named Region of the Year for both 2011 and 2012. He was promoted to Vice President, Region Development, in 2013 and shifted his focus to Business Development in February 2014. Adam was promoted to Senior Vice President, Marketing in February 2015. Francois-Olivier Luiggi

Ishay Grinberg

Ishay [pronounced ee-shy] is the Founder and President of Rental Beast. After spending 13 years working in the real estate industry, Ishay saw the need for a comprehensive online platform that would help tenants and landlords navigate the rental experience. Starting in Boston, Ishay spent over seven years perfecting the Rental Beast database, gathering millions of listings and developing influential industry relationships to create a unique and tailored user experience for landlords, property managers, tenants and brokers. I am as Denver as it gets…I am all but born here. I was raised in the city and selling real estate here for almost 20 years…Denver is my home. I am a city person at my very core. I live in the Washington Park neighborhood, ride my scooter daily (well...a lot) but only in good weather, people-watch on patios, and love to explore the newest parts of our evolving city. When I was a teenager, I wanted to go live in a Big City, in the way that meant at the time. Today, I recognize that my home, my Denver, has the best of the big city life without being the Big City.

My personal passion blossomed alongside my professional path. In the decade of helping relocate Denver Nuggets’ players, coaches and their families to Denver, I learned to understand their needs and goals. We worked hand-in-hand to make this their home, however long their contract.

Today my livelihood is Denver’s urban core, and I’ve played an active part in its development in the last couple of decades. While serving on the Denver Metro Association of Realtor’s Board of Directors for three years and as Vice Chair of their Government Affairs Committee, I had a hand in many zoning changes in the early 2000s. This helped shape my goals for the city and provide me with a foundation for understanding others’ visions for their neighborhoods. As the city evolves, I keep an eye on neighborhoods, blocks, and districts, seeking to understand the best possible environment for my clients today and beyond.

Claire Fauquier

Claire is a Principal with Corigin Ventures. She is responsible for sourcing and analyzing deals, along with working with, and supporting portfolio companies. She began her career working in Investment Banking with Credit Suisse, both in their Toronto and New York offices. She did a stint working for the Nairobi-based growth private equity firm, Jacana Partners. Claire spent time working in the UK for the FinTech company Ebury, leading their M&A growth strategy efforts and working to prepare the company for a capital raise.

Eva Pulliam

Eva’s work focuses heavily on counseling clients regarding data collection, use, and transfer, as well as the development of appropriate internal and external-facing policies to govern such practices. For example, Eva works frequently with issues involving cross border data transfers and international data privacy law compliance. Additionally, she has experience with helping clients comply with US federal and state regulations that impact data collection, storage, use, and disclosures as they relate to children, financial institutions, and others. She also continues to review emerging laws in the privacy area as they impact clients’ data collection, maintenance, and breach procedures.

As a member of the advertising team, Eva also reviews advertising materials and advises clients on federal and state laws, including unfair and deceptive trade practice regulations enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well as FTC guidance related to green marketing, e-mail marketing, and telemarketing. Some of Eva's notable experience is in the area of online gaming and lottery regulations. Eva also has experience drafting and reviewing promotion rules for contests and sweepstakes, as well as assisting clients with prize fulfillment and other aspects of client promotions.

Eva’s work in the intellectual property group includes policing, clearing, registering, and enforcing clients’ trademarks. She also handles various matters, including domain name issues and infringements.

Jennifer Marchetti

Jennifer Marchetti is the Chief Marketing Officer for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC and leads the teams responsible for brand marketing strategy, direct marketing, online marketing, franchise sales marketing, and communications. In 2015 she was named a Women Worth Watching by the Diversity Journal.

Prior to joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Jennifer was Wyndham Worldwide’s Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for the Wyndham Family of Brands, where she was responsible for strategic planning, global marketing, loyalty marketing, and e-commerce strategies for the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, TRYP by Wyndham®, Wingate by Wyndham®, and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham® brands. Jennifer spent nine years with Wyndham Worldwide and its parent company, Cendant Corporation. During her tenure, she held other positions including Director of Marketing for Cendant Preferred Alliance and Senior Director of Strategy at Wyndham Hotel Group.

Jennifer began her career as the Director of Corporate Communications with Trilogy, Inc., a privately-held software company based in Austin, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University with a minor in Art History.

Marc Regardie

Marc heads up the brokerage sales team for Homesnap.  He focuses on providing innovative digital marketing solutions to brokerages to help them better connect to their clients and prospects while providing the best tools for their agents.  As the first sales person hired by Homesnap (in 2014), he has helped to develop the strategy for the revenue products and services that Homesnap offers to agents, teams and brokerages.

Nisha Dua

Nisha has spent the last 10 years working in media, tech, strategy and law. In addition to her work at BBG Ventures, she founded the #BUILTBYGIRLS movement which challenges young women to be part of the tech-enabled economy through a series of offline and online programs to teach girls the fundamentals of venture capital.

Nisha was previously the General Manager of AOL’s millennial site, Cambio and Chief of Staff for the AOL Brand Group, working on strategy, operations and special projects. El-Moussa is a passionate real estate leader and a strategic thinker with experience in operations, management, business development and technology. Curt is a frequent speaker on technology, trends and the future of the real estate industry and was selected to be part of the 2013 & 2014 Swanepoel Power 200 list of most powerful people in U.S. residential real estate.  Curt graduated with honors from Northwest University with degrees in history and philosophy.

Brian Dick

Brian Dick is the Strategic Partner Development Manager for Google.  He heads up the Real Estate Vertical under the Channel Sales division tasked with driving business development and new partnerships with leading Real Estate  partners.  Prior to Google Brian was VP of Business Development for The Daily Beast and 20+ years in Interactive Marketing & Sales Strategy for leading companies such as MGM Home Entertainment, Walt Disney and CBS Entertainment.
Brian was on the New York board of Association for Strategic Planning.   He was also a committee member of the Internet Advertising Board (IAB).  He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Business.
