Rob Hahn
VP of Marketing, Onboard Infomatics
A graduate of Yale University, with a degree in Philosophy, Rob first started on Wall Street at D.E. Shaw & Co, a quantitative hedge fund, as an IT professional. His claim to fame is that he installed Jeff Bezo's personal computer and was one of the beta testers for HTML. He then left a career in complex derivatives to sell men's suits at Bergdorf Goodman, where he broke the record for new sales associates in time to reach quota and for verified weekly sales. After a stint at NYU School of Law, where he happened to pick up a Juris Doctor with a focus on cross-border bankruptcy law, Rob decided to take a 92% pay cut to be an editor of a game magazine. He then started Psylum, Inc., an online media company focusing on gaming, comics, and collectibles spaces, which dominated its niche markets. When his company was acquired by USA Networks, he became Vice President of Interactive Entertainment division where he oversaw the Scifi.com Network. Rob was then lured to a startup company, DuoCash, where he led the Business Affairs department and was charged with designing marketing strategies, refining the financial and business plans and negotiating key deals with vendors.
