Colliers brokers six industrial leases

Colliers Seeley International’s Irvine office negotiated six industrial lease transactions totaling more than 700,000 square feet in southern California, Florida and Virginia

The six transactions have a combined value of $15 million.

In Orlando, Fla., Santa Ana-based BEHR Corp. signed a five-year lease agreement to expand its Southeast distribution operation to 161,000 square feet.

In 2003, Colliers represented BEHR in a five-year lease agreement renewal on a 147,910-square-foot distribution facility in Santa Ana, Calif.

Turner also represented Frieda’s Inc., a specialty produce distributor in Los Alamitos, Calif., in the renewal of a five-year, 85,000-square-foot industrial lease agreement at 4465 Corporate Center Drive for $2.5 million. John Biven of CB Richard Ellis represented the building owner, Los Alamitos Corporate Center J.V.

In Foothill Ranch, Calif., CPU Protocol subleased a 170,000-square-foot industrial building from Celestica (NYSE: CLS) located at 25902 Towne Centre Drive for four-and-one-half years in a transaction valued at approximately $2.5 million. Colliers represented the sub-lessor, Greg Tippin. Rick Kaplan of Cushman and Wakefield represented the sub-lessee.

Milgard Windows Inc., one of the largest window manufacturers in the United States, signed a five-year, 82,000-square-foot industrial lease agreement in Fredericksburg, Va. Colliers represented Milgard in the negotiations.

In Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Colliers also represented Tyco/A&E Products on the lease agreement renewal of its 129,037-square-foot facility.
