Semiconductor supplier dumps warehouse

Ismeca Properties sold a 70,253-square-foot industrial building in San Diego, Calif.

The value of the transaction was $5.6 million.

Ismeca, a supplier of semiconductor tape and reel systems, sold the 2365 Oak Ridge Way property to JBM Partners LLC.

Ismeca constructed this property in 1998. It sits on 5.57 acres and will be used by McCain Traffic Supply to design and manufacture vehicle signals, pedestrian signals, traffic controllers and cabinets, programmable CMS signs, and advanced transit management systems. Ismeca moved the engineering and production of its automation equipment back to the headquarters in Switzerland. Sales, service and an applications group will remain in the San Diego area to serve the needs of U.S. customers.

Kelly Nicholls of BRE Commercial and eRealty Commercial represented Ismeca in the transaction. Don Grant, also of BRE Commercial, represented JBM.

Southern California-based BRE Commercial is a privately held commercial real estate brokerage.
