Prudential real estate agents go wireless

Prudential California Realty of San Bruno’s 128 sales agents are going mobile with Criterion’s RedTablet Mobile Office, which provides tools to assist clients and manage real estate transactions entirely from the field, Criterion announced this week.

The Mobile Office suite includes the Motion Computing Tablet PC, built-in wireless WAN card, portable printer and a digital camera. Agents also have anytime access to the Multiple Listing Service and e-mail via the Internet. They also can use the Tablet PC’s digital pen to take handwritten notes during an open house, complete real estate contracts, snap a photo and print out a “Just Listed” flyer for a listing presentation, and maintain electronic files for each transaction.

Prudential California Realty San Bruno serves home buyers and sellers in San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, as well as the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The company is an independently owned and operated member of The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, which has 1,540 offices and 43,000 sales associates located in 50 states and five Canadian provinces.

Criterion Corp. is a privately held, Silicon Valley-based mobile hardware and software provider that specializes in wireless enterprise application development for the real estate industry.
