Prudential broadens global relocation services

Prudential Relocation, a part of Prudential Financial, Inc., launches new services to assist companies with temporary overseas assignments and extended business travel. The new relocation services include Global Business Briefings, which are half-day training sessions that focus on how to work effectively with host-country nationals, raise awareness of cultural values and behaviors, and identify strategies to overcome challenges in the business environment.

If executives don’t have time for these trainings before they depart, Prudential Relocation can arrange for the meetings once they arrive at their destination. To fill out this offering, Prudential Relocation also offers language lessons, relocation services, executive coaching, repatriation services and customized intercultural training in the host country.

Global Policy Assistance, another new service, provides services related to the development of customized international business travelers’ manuals, the creation of reports assessing a company’s short-term assignment policy, and the design or re-design of a short-term assignment policies.

“Many companies don’t have the appropriate policies or training in place to support international commuter assignments and extended international business travel,” said Margery Marshall, president of Prudential Relocation. The relocation division has offices in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Prudential’s international move-related services include destination services, education consulting, home management, household goods assistance, spouse-partner assistance, tenancy management, and visa and immigration services.
