Digitas leases office space in Boston

Arch Street Tower, owner of 33 Arch Street in Boston, has leased 200,000 square feet of office space to anchor tenant Digitas, a marketing services firm.

Congress Group Ventures along with other investors owns the tower.

“Our goal from the start of this development was to attract world-class companies to this location. We could not be more excited to welcome Digitas as our major tenant for the property,” said Dean Stratouly, president of Congress Group Ventures.

Digitas is headquartered in Boston, and also has offices in Chicago, London, New York and San Francisco. Clients include American Express, AOL, AT&T, Delta Air Lines and General Motors.

The company will fully occupy the eighth and 12th through 19th floors of 33 Arch Street.

Principal William P. Barrack, Assistant Vice President Jason R. Cameron, and Associate Jennifer K. Luginbuhl of Spaulding & Slye Colliers represented Digitas in the transaction. Attorney Stuart Offner of Mintz Levin provided legal representation.

The building is a Class A tower with 600,000 square feet of office space. The base building will be completed this month and includes 33 floors with views of the Boston Common, the Charles River and Boston Harbor. The building has state-of-the-art voice and data networks and 24-hour security.

Executives Andrew W. Hoar, Timothy M. Lyne and Andrew Maher and associate Lisa Bevacqua of CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners represented the landlord.

Attorney Michael J. Litchman of Goodwin Procter LLP, represented the owners during the negotiations.
