Real estate: The week ahead

  • The Employee Relocation Council will host its National Relocation Conference, May 11-13 in Las Vegas. The conference brings together professionals who manage workforce mobility. Session topics include building a business case for emerging markets, the future of human resource outsourcing and its impact on relocation, home remodeling trends and the new tech home, and the power of generational insight.

  • Wells Fargo Bank will host the annual National Trust Real Estate Association Conference in San Francisco, May 4-7. The event is designed for financial professionals nationwide who manage real estate for wealthy clients.

  • The Community Organizer Symposium, hosted by the NeighborWorks Training Institute and Neighborhood Reinvestment’s Resident Leadership Initiative, is slated for May 3-5 in Minneapolis. The event features courses in organizing diverse communities, technology as a tool for community organizers and critical analysis of neighborhood revitalization.

  • The California Mortgage Bankers Association will host its Western States Mortgage Originators Conference & Expo, May 5-7, in Dana Point, Calif.

  • The Symposium on Multifamily Excellence, hosted by Neighborhood Reinvestment and The Campaign for Affordable Housing, will take place May 5 in Minneapolis. The event will discuss strategies on how to gain support for affordable housing and is designed for development practitioners, policy makers, national housing leaders and marketing professionals.
