Arizona real estate lands online

Planet IDX, an Internet data exchange and virtual office Web site technology provider, has launched VOW 2.0 in Phoenix. The system offers home buyers the ability to search thousands of home listings from the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service at the participating broker or agent’s Web site.

The VOW system uses post-IDX concepts to convey a Virtual Office Web site online. It enables agents to maximize their lead capture rate. Prospective home buyers can save up to 200 searches or 400 properties into their personal account, and the VOW system will automatically e-mail them regarding new properties.

The latest VOW 2.0 incorporates IDX with VOW by capturing the home buyer’s attention prior to registering as a member. The VOW system is in compliance with the National Association of Realtors rules and regulations regarding online listings display, according to Planet IDX.

In 1999, Planet IDX proposed a programming language, called REML, exclusively for the real estate industry. The Las Vegas-based Internet technology company offers technology consulting, Web site design and hosting, Internet marketing, graphic design and virtual tour software.
