University of Phoenix inks lease deal

The University of Phoenix has signed a seven-year lease agreement to relocate its Fountain Valley Learning Center to Costa Mesa, Calif.

 

The University agreed to occupy more than 46,000 square feet at the South Coast Corporate Center in a deal valued at $7.8 million.

 

University of Phoenix will occupy two full floors and a portion of a third at 3090 Bristol Street. The 123,421-square-foot building is one of three brick and glass buildings comprising the 362,000-square-foot corporate campus.

 

Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, MetLife.

 

The University of Phoenix is a private university specializing in the education of working adults. It has more than 100 campuses and learning centers throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. There are 14 learning centers in Southern California.

 

Cushman & Wakefield is a privately held real estate services company with 164 offices in 49 countries.
