Inman News adds experienced executives to team

Inman News has added two seasoned professionals to its management team.

Joining the company as vice president of operations is Fougere Robertson, who is responsible for administrative, Web site and customer service and retention functions. Robertson comes to Inman News after seven years with SBC Communications, where, among other things, she led a customer support team.

Robertson has served as a computer consultant with a variety of companies over the last two decades, working with customers ranging from Wells Fargo to Carlos Santana. A graduate of Utica College in New York, Robertson also attended the University of Colorado.

Joining Inman News as vice president of sales and marketing is Kelly Roark. At Inman, Roark is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts, including branding, content licensing, advertising, sponsorships and exhibitor space sales. Previously, Roark headed her own sales and marketing company, which focused on helping small real estate and mortgage companies differentiate themselves from the competition. She also served in a variety of marketing roles with Qwest Communications and Cushman Realty Corp. She is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles.

“We are excited about fortifying the Inman News team with these two talented and experienced executives,” said Bradley Inman, founder and publisher of Inman News. “Our investment in new technology infrastructure and an exciting new marketing plan will set the stage for the introduction of innovative new products and services that provide significant value to our customers.”
