Open house service matches Realtors with home buyers

OpenHouseToday.net has launched a new real estate service that matches home buyers with available open house listings.

The online service aims to connect prospective home buyers with licensed real estate professionals exclusively through open house listings. This approach gives agents equal opportunity to promote their open houses regardless of agency affiliation. The program is restricted to licensed members of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors do not have to pay to register or submit basic information about the open house. And the company will not charge Realtors for a feature listing until after Sept. 30. A feature listing showcases a home and includes photos, expanded information and can link to the Realtor’s Web site. Additional enhancements are under development, according to the company.

“We are starting our advertising efforts in the greater San Francisco area and anticipate to populate the entire USA market by the end of the year,” OpenHouseToday.net President Jim Gingery said.
