AEW Capital brokers SoCal industrial deal

Boston-based AEW Capital Management has acquired the South Chino Industrial Center, a newly constructed development consisting of two buildings totaling 500,617 square feet in Chino, Calif. The purchase was made on behalf of an institutional client.

The acquisition price was $20.7 million.

AEW and Colliers Seeley International’s Diamond Bar office represented the buyer, as well as the seller, Opus West Corp., in the transaction.

The first building contains 229,182 square feet of leasable space and is located at 15910-15940 Euclid Ave. The second building, which contains 271,435 square feet of space, is located at 15820-15880 Euclid Ave. The buildings were vacant at the time of purchase, and are currently being marketed for lease by the Colliers Seeley International team.

AEW Capital Management provides investment advisory services to institutions and other owners of commercial properties and portfolios.
