Arizona Realtors go wireless

Retrieval Dynamics Corp. and the Arizona Regional MLS today announced an agreement through RDC’s Mobile Listing Advantage program that will provide real estate agents and brokers with instant wireless access to all current property listings.

The program bundles together the Mobile Listing Advantage wireless MLS software from Retrieval Dynamics, the BlackBerry Wireless Handheld from Research In Motion, and network airtime plans from various wireless carriers.

“A recent survey of brokers in our area revealed a demand for wireless access to property listings,” said Nick Petra, president of ARMLS. “We are delighted to be able to offer another state-of-the-art technology to real estate professionals that fosters convenience and increased mobility.”

The ARMLS service area includes all of Maricopa and portions of Pinal and Yavapai Counties. ARMLS acts as the MLS for five Realtor associations: the Phoenix Association of Realtors, the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, Casa Grande Regional Association of Realtors, the Glendale/West Maricopa Board of Realtors, the Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors, and the Lake Pleasant Regional Association of Realtors. More than 25,000 Realtors subscribe to the services provided by ARMLS.

Retrieval Dynamics Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of RDC International, is a program developer offering wireless and wireless Internet-enabled applications and business productivity services.
