HomeServices grows in Southern California

Prudential California Realty, a HomeServices of America company, has acquired the residential real estate brokerage business of HLH Enterprises Inc., doing business as Prudential California Realty in Palm Springs.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

“This acquisition, along with the previously announced acquisition of Prudential California Realty in Palm Desert and La Quinta, gives us a significant presence in the rapidly growing Coachella Valley,” said Ron Peltier, president and chief executive officer of HomeServices. “Following the acquisition, Prudential California will have the exclusive Prudential franchise rights in an area that is key to our continued growth.”

Prudential California Realty is a subsidiary of HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate. Prudential California has approximately 4,600 sales associates and 82 offices in San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Riverside counties.
