ENeighborhoods, GlobeXplorer partner for aerial photos

ENeighborhoods has inked a deal with GlobeXplorer to provide instant aerial and satellite photos of any property in America.

ENeighborhoods has incorporated aerial photos into its Mapping, CMA, BuyerTour, and HomeBook modules to help real estate professionals maximize the impact of presentations and help educate prospective buyers about their properties. Users can enter any address in the country and instantly see an aerial photo of their desired location, which can be adjusted with zoom and pan features. Users can also use the “combo” feature, which overlays street names and points of interest on to the aerial images.

“For the past few years, we’ve watched aerial and satellite photos become a key part of the real estate transaction cycle,” said Rob Shanks, GlobeXplorer’s president. “High-resolution aerials allow Realtors, buyers, insurance companies, appraisers, title agents and mortgage lenders to view a property without actually being there. Aerial photos give a tremendous amount of insight into not only a property itself, but the nature of its surrounding area.”

Boca Raton, Fla.-based eNeighborhoods compiles and sells home and neighborhood information products. Real estate agents use the data to market their services by providing neighborhood reports that can be printed, sent by e-mail or posted on a Web site.
