Real estate showing requests get online boost

ShowingTime, a showing management software company, on Wednesday announced it has implemented a new listing feature that allows Realtors using the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island to request property showings directly through their Stratus MLS system.

ShowingTime’s proprietary interactive calendaring system, ShowingAssist, allows a listing agent or listing office manager to configure his/her listings so that a “request a showing” calendar is presented to the showing agent viewing the listing online in the MLS. The service aims to benefit both the showing agent and listing agent by eliminating phone tag and busy work.

Listing agents can update the online calendar to display available hours when properties are “open” for showings. Showing request notifications are routed instantly according to the preferences of either the listing agent or the listing office. Agents also have the option to CC additional e-mail accounts or wireless devices so they are immediately informed of activity on their listings.

ShowingTime equips real estate offices and MLSs with tools to schedule showings, track leads, retain/recruit agents, measure marketing ROI and generate showings from their Web sites.
