Technology gives 24/7 access to home sale status

NewportWorks has launched an enterprise-level system for the real estate industry, AnytimeTransact, utilizing IBM speech-recognition technology to give real estate agents, buyers and sellers access to critical and up-to-date transaction data anytime over the phone.

AnytimeTransact aims to cut the amount of time loan officers, title representatives, and other operations staff would spend answering customer inquiries about their transaction status while simultaneously keeping everyone more informed.

To use the AnytimeTransact service, buyers dial a toll-free number and say their user name and password in order to gain access to their transaction’s current status and/or that of a particular milestone such as HUD completion, appraisal, loan documents, closing schedule, or other. Customers can ask to speak with a service agent at any time during the call.

AnytimeTransact integrates with escrow and title order systems, loan application systems, insurance systems, payment processing and any area MLS.

AnytimeTransact was built using the IBM WebSphere Voice Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and IBM Voice Response technologies to provide an enterprise grade platform for serving customers. The application uses standard real-time XML interfaces to provide access to accurate, up-to-date transaction information. To meet the needs of small, medium and large enterprise operations, the platform is available for installation or as a hosted service.

NewportWorks is a privately held company that builds voice-based applications and services. The company was founded in 2000 and is an IBM Business Partner.
