Sotheby’s adds to real estate franchise network

Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates has added a South Carolina luxury real estate company to its franchise ranks. Prince George Premier Properties, which specializes in distinctive homes and properties along the South Carolina Atlantic coastline has joined the Sotheby’s network, and will now do business as Prince George Sotheby’s International Realty.

Prince George Premier Properties was established in 1997 and is well known as the marketing and sales firm for Prince George River and Prince George Ocean, a 1,900-acre coastal community south of Pawleys Island on South Carolina’s pristine lower Waccamaw Neck.

Owned by Phillip Lammonds and Carol Jayroe, the company has expanded its focus to include waterfront acreage and luxury properties in regions stretching from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, S.C.

Sotheby’s International Realty Inc. is comprised of a real estate brokerage operation and a franchise/affiliate system of independently owned and operated real estate companies. Sotheby’s has signed 15 franchise agreements in the United States and one master franchisor in Europe, since signing a long-term strategic alliance with Cendant, a real estate brokerage franchiser.
