Tech partnership aims for faster real estate paperwork

TitleVest Agency and Adobe Systems have partnered to create an online program that will generate multiple real estate documents by entering basic information just one time, the companies said today.

The launch of the program is scheduled for Fall 2005, and it will reside at TitleVest.com, the company said.

The online document technology is expected to make it easier for real estate attorneys and real estate buyers and seller to fill out all the required legal paperwork faster than was previously possible, according to Bill Baron, founder and president of TitleVest.

Such legal forms include contracts of sale, deeds, transfer tax forms, affidavits and other real estate documents required for the buying and selling of real property, Baron said.

TitleVest has offices in New York City and West Palm Beach, Fla., and provides title insurance, cooperative apartment lien searches and UCC filings. The company offers a range of title insurance and related real estate services from large commercial transactions to residential purchases and mortgage refinances.

TitleVest is a policy-issuing agent for First American Title Insurance Co. of New York, Chicago Title Insurance Co., Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. and Old Republic National Title Insurance Co.

Adobe provides software products to create, manage and deliver digital content, and is the creator of the Adobe Portable Document Format technology, known as PDF.
