Help-U-Sell on pace for 1,000 franchises this year

Help-U-Sell Real Estate, a flat-fee real estate company, is on pace to reach 1,000 franchises by the end of the year, according to Rick O’Neil, company president.

The real estate company this week announced that it has reached 800 franchises, with the 800th office scheduled to open in Fort Worth, Texas. “This milestone represents a 900 percent increase since 1999,” the company announced.

Company headquarters have expanded into a larger facility in Castle Rock, Colo., to manage the growth and accommodate a larger corporate staff. The opening of new regions has been a major factor in bolstering franchise development in markets such as Florida, Georgia, Texas and New Jersey, the company announced.

In September, Help-U-Sell announced that it had broken the 600-franchise market and expanded its reach into 46 states.

“There is a microscope focused on our industry lately and companies that offer options to home buyers and sellers are capturing the attention of the public. Consumers are a powerful force,” says O’Neil.

Help-U-Sell has been named the fastest growing real estate franchise for 2005 by Entrepreneur Magazine and has been listed in the top 50 of the 26th Annual Franchise 500, the company’s sixth straight year on the list. The company claims that its sellers have saved hundreds of millions of dollars over standard real estate commissions in the past year.

Sellers can choose to conduct their own open houses in order to realize the greatest cost savings through Help-U-Sell, or sellers can opt for an agent at the company to conduct the open houses.
