Condo shoppers get bird’s eye view of projects

Consumers looking to buy condominiums or townhomes will be able to zoom over and around cities and condo projects using Google Earth on CondoBuzz.com.

CondoBuzz.com, a national network of 1,500 real estate Web sites focused on condos and townhomes, has incorporated Google Earth’s three-dimensional imagery feature into some of its local condo Web sites, according to Randy Kempenich, president of Kemteck Inc., which owns CondoBuzz.com and its affiliated Web sites.

Google Earth combines satellite images and maps, and CondoBuzz has combined the program with data for condo buildings and projects, giving users a visual idea of the neighborhood along with other information before making a real estate purchase.

In addition, users can also take a glimpse of where just announced projects will be built, as well as local restaurants, shopping and parks that are nearby.

Condo and townhouse developers also can use the feature to highlight their projects on the CondoBuzz network, the company said.

Each of CondoBuzz.com’s real estate sites are locally focused on individual metropolitan areas. The company offers exclusive membership to brokers for referral services.
