Coldwell real estate grows in Maryland

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic has acquired the assets of Tred Avon Properties LLC in Easton, Md.

 

The company’s single office will merge with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Easton office and operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

 

Hugh Smith, an owner of Tred Avon Properties, will now assume the role of branch vice president of the combined Easton office, located at 17 South Washington St. Fellow owners William H. “Skipper” Marquess and Piper Murphy will remain in their capacity as sales associates for the newly combined company. In addition, Laurie Renshaw, also an owner of Tred Avon Properties, will continue in her role as an office administrator, joining the existing staff of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

 

Tred Avon Properties and its 16 sales associates accounted for nearly $37 million in total closed sales volume during the past 12 months, according to a press statement. With this announcement, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has more than 4,600 sales associates operating in 81 offices in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia, accounting for a total closed sales volume of over $13 billion in 2004.
