Long-term mortgage interest rates were flat Thursday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield climbed to 4.15 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average remained at 5.27 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate slipped to 4.82 percent. The 1-year adjustable was up slightly at 3.83 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield grew to 4.43 percent.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states. Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.
In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 37.57 points, or 0.35 percent, finishing at 10,595.93. The Nasdaq fell 6 points, or 0.28 percent, closing at 2,166.03.
