Colorado apartment community changes hands

A 420-unit apartment community in Aurora, Colo., has been sold for $24.3 million, according to The Bascom Group, LLC.

 

Bascom Group purchased the property, known as the Four Horizon Apartments, that is located at d14304 E Tennessee Ave., in Aurora. The sale closed on Oct. 11, according to Bascom.

 

The seller of the property was FSM Four Horizon, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company.

 

Four Horizon Apartments was completed in two phases; Phase 1 in 1980 and Phase 2 in 1982. The apartment community consists of 35 three-story buildings with one and two bedroom apartments with an average unit size of 850 square feet. The spacious apartments are also appointed with individually controlled central heating and air conditioning, washer/dryer hookups, wood burning fireplaces, patios/balconies and vaulted ceilings (select units).

 

The Bascom Group is a private equity firm that was founded in 1996.
