The cutting edge of luxury home marketing

Inman Stories and New York city real estate leader Prudential Douglas Elliman have launched a new private-label video magazine that showcases New York properties using Internet movies produced by Inman News.

“We’re excited to be working with an innovative real estate company like Prudential Douglas Elliman,” said John McWeeny, VP Business Development for Inman Stories. “Douglas Elliman’s use of films to market new condominium projects and retail projects is one of the first on the Internet and a perfect match with our global Internet movie project.”

Prudential Douglas Elliman has 60 offices serving 350 communities from Manhattan to Montauk. The company ranks among the top firms in the Prudential network, and is led by CEO Dottie Herman.

Inman Stories has produced six films for Douglas Elliman, which are being distributed on Yahoo!, the Wall St. Journal’s online real estate site, and MSN Video. Professional filmmakers capture the essence of these unique homes, masterfully engaging the viewer while letting the story behind the property unfold.

The movies are presented in an electronic magazine format with each page containing a different Prudential Douglas Elliman film. The magazine also features a movie capturing the company’s experience, the firm’s vitals and a link back to the Prudential Douglas Elliman Web site.

Inman News launched Inman Stories in July at Real Estate Connect in San Francisco. The video magazine focuses on high-end homes, destinations and interesting people. Inman Stories is making dozens of new videos each week and is working with big brokers around the country.
