Behringer Harvard REIT I Inc. recently announced its second acquisition in Washington, D.C., with the purchase of 1325 G St., a 306,563-square-foot, class A office building.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The 10-story property contains a five-level underground parking garage and is located on the same block with another Fund property, the Colorado Building, just two blocks east of The White House.

Substantially redeveloped since 1997, the asset was originally constructed in 1969, and is located on 0.77 acres of land in the capital’s East End submarket.

At the time of sale, the property was 97 percent leased to a diverse tenant mix that includes the United States Government, which occupies 20 percent of the building.
