Real estate technology companies announce agreement

RealBird Inc., a leading provider of online map-based Internet data exchange (IDX) property search Web sites and geographic information system (GIS) tools for the real estate industry, has partnered with MLSSoftware.com, a provider of IDX search services, the companies announced today.

Through the partnership agreement, MLSSoftware will resell a branded version of RealBird’s service to its clients.

“Our agreement with RealBird comes at the right time for us,” said Rick Thomas, Owner for MLSSoftware. “Our clients are increasingly asking for better listing search services and map-based search is definitely the wave of the future.”

Gabriel Gross, RealBird founder and president, said: “The online mapping industry is evolving very quickly these days, and map-based search tools will soon be found on every real estate Web site.”

MLSSoftware is a provider of Web-based property search services to real estate offices and agents in 30 states, and to over 50 local multiple listing services. MLSSoftware.com offers search functionality that can be tailored to the needs of an individual agent or brokerage office. MLSSoftware.com lead capturing programs are compatible with Lead Router, Top Producer and some other lead capture programs, according to the announcement today.

RealBird’s services includes street, aerial and topographical maps, broker-branded driving directions and various visualized data layers, with interactive “hotspots” that can be linked to photos, Web sites or virtual tours. RealBird’s map-based search service couples the traditional, form-based search with the ability to browse listings on a street or aerial map. The company also offers full integration with several Google services.
