Long-term mortgage interest rates were back up Tuesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield gained to 4.43 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average rose to 5.67 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate jumped to 5.25 percent. The 1-year adjustable was down at 4.48 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield increased to 4.61 percent.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states. Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.
In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.32 points, or 0 percent, finishing at 11,011.58. The Nasdaq rose 1.63 points, or 0.07 percent, closing at 2,320.32.
