MRIS members get fast home listings data import

Real estate members of the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems will be able to import data from the multiple listing service directly into their ZipForm documents without having to re-enter it, according to an announcement today.

MRIS has made the ZipForm data import product available to members, who sell real estate in the Washington, D.C., area. The new functionality aims to save MRIS users’ time by allowing forms to be completed faster and free of the keying errors associated with manual entry.

ZipFormMLS-Connect information is available at http://www.zipform.com/mlsconnect.

ZipForm products comply with the Real Estate Transaction Standard specifications, and support the import and export of eXtensible Markup Language (XML) from other RETS compliant applications. This technology allows ZipFormMLS-Connect to import data directly from the MRIS MLS System.

“Working with MRIS is an excellent example of our commitment to the integration of future technology in the industry,” said Robert Bailey, chairman of the board of RE FormsNet, which provides ZipForms. “As the nation’s largest MLS, MRIS occupies a substantial corner in the marketplace. By forging new relationships with industry leaders like MRIS, RE FormsNet continues to strive toward assisting our customers with streamlining their business processes.”

RE FormsNet also offers developer tools that allow third-party applications to capture and use data collected during a ZipForm transaction.

ZipFormOnline also offers one-click integration with RELAY Transaction Management system, a Web-based created by the National Association of Realtors and and Real Estate Business Technologies LLC.
