Bedford Park Corporate Center gets first tenant

Ridge Property Trust has signed Toyota Tsusho America to a 208,800-square-foot lease at the newly constructed Bedford Park Corporate Center III in Bedford Park, Ill., Ridge Property said Thursday.

Terms for the 208,800-square-foot lease weren’t disclosed. Toyota Tsusho America will be the first tenant in the new corporate center.

“Bedford Park is the ideal location for industrial users looking for close proximity to transportation and a deep labor pool,” said Doug Hayes, vice president for Ridge Property Trust.

Jeffrey J. Janda, principal, of Lee & Associates of Illinois LLC, represented Toyota Tsusho America in the lease transaction, while CB Richard Ellis’ George Maragos, SIOR, senior vice president, and Scott Duerkop, senior associate, negotiated on behalf of Ridge Property Trust.

Toyota Tsusho America is relocating to the Bedford Park Corporate Center III from its current facility in Bolingbrook, Ill. The new facility will be used for auto part assembly and as a national and international distribution facility. The company has already started moving in.

The Bedford Park high bay manufacturing and distribution facility is the first infill speculative building in Bedford Park, with a total of 470,160 square feet on 23.98 acres. The facility includes 32′ clear heights, rail service, 48 loading docks, truck parking, and offices.
