Asante Real Estate Group of Los Gatos, Calif., has announced a discount listing program that offers full-service real estate representation for a 1 percent commission, with up to 3 percent commission paid to the cooperating buyer’s broker.
Also, the company announced the launch of a Web site, YourHomeBid.com, that allows home buyers to bid online to purchase any home in the San Francisco Bay Area. If their bid is successful, Asante will reward buyers with a refund of two-thirds of the buyer’s agent’s commission, according to the report.
“For a $1 million home, the buyer would receive up to $20,000 back upon close of escrow.”
The online bid program includes full service and support to buyers – “everything from writing the real estate offer through the close of escrow, plus post-sale support. Buyers may use the savings to offset closing costs, reduce the purchase price of the home, increase the offering price to improve their chance of getting a home, or receive cash at close of escrow.”
Asante has launched a new property-search Web site, too, called HomeyRoamy.com. The site includes property listings for homes in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, and features an interactive map tool. The site does not require registration.
