CityCribs launches NYC real estate blog

CityCribs, a New York City marketplace for apartment rentals and sales, has launched CribsTown.com, a blog dedicated to renting, buying, selling and creating big city “cribs,” or homes, “from the concrete up,” the company said today.

“Whether users are searching for or selling a tiny studio, or idealizing a plush Park Avenue penthouse, Cribs Town is their one-stop-shop for insider tips on finding a home, fixing it up, and fitting it out with style and know-how,” the company said in a statement. Cribstown.com is a blog designed to serve all of those living in metropolitan cities across the U.S.

The blog aims to keep city dwellers abreast of real estate trends in the renters’ and sellers’ market through regular updates, the company said. The blog will also supply tips on everything from moving in, to understanding co-op procedures, to moving onto the next place, according to the company.

“We’re really excited about Cribstown.com, and hope that it will not only help people find valuable information about housing and life in the big city, but that it will also get people interacting and learning from each other,” Gea Elika of CityCribs said. “We’re definitely encouraging homeowners and Realtors to get involved and post comments and tips on the blog. We’re really interested in people’s insight and perspectives. There’s no pre-requisite, you just have information or an opinion about city living.”

CityCribs.com recently rolled out its services into an additional seven cities — Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

Founded in January 2004, CityCribs connects property seekers with leading Realtors and services.
