HomeGain launches free listing service

As the market softens, Realtors are being offered an array of free listing services to promote homes for sale, as online companies race to build their home listing inventory.

Online real estate company HomeGain, announced today that members of its real estate network can upload their home listings to Homegain.com for free.

This free home listings service promises to increase visibility of real estate agents’ property listings by displaying them to homeowners searching for homes for sale on Homegain.com.

HomeGain’s General Manager Louis Cammarosano stated, “The majority of home buyers today begin their search for homes online and we provide agents with the tools and products to capitalize on that opportunity.”

HomeGain also offers a free home-valuation tool, and a way for consumers to evaluate and find agents.

AgentEvaluator is HomeGain’s “Find an Agent” service for potential home buyers and sellers to anonymously find and compare real estate agents.

HomeGain attracts approximately 5 million unique visitors to its Web site for real estate services.

The company was sold to Classified Ventures in June of 2005. Classified Ventures also runs and operates HomeScape, which offers online real estate services to member newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune.
