Brokers to advise real estate search firm

As more consumers start their home searches on the Internet, real estate brokers are being offered more places to market listings online.

Trulia.com, a site that offers to include listings in a national real estate search, today announced that 10 brokerage industry leaders have joined the company’s advisory board to provide expertise on the online consumer real estate experience.

Trulia displays more than 1 million property listings, as well as neighborhood statistics, heat maps and other resources. The company partners with brokerage companies to display the listings in a national real estate search on Trulia.com.

The new advisory board includes: Anthony Azar, CEO, Realty Executives Southern Arizona; Sherry Chris, COO, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp.; Van Davis, consultant and former CEO, Foxtons; Michael Koval, CTO, Long and Foster Companies; Jonathan Miller, president/CEO, Miller Samuel Inc.; Robert Moles, chairman, Intero Real Estate Services; Steve Ozonian, chairman, Realty Information Systems Inc./Help-U-Sell Real Estate; Michael Pappas, president, The Keyes Co.; Bob Peltier, president, Edina Realty Inc.; and Kaira Rouda, COO, Real Living, Inc.  

In early 2006, Trulia received $5.7 million in Series B financing. The company has since expanded to include major markets across the nation.
