Office space changes hands in Honolulu

The Shidler Group has purchased the ANA Kalakaua Center in Honolulu, the commercial real estate company announced this week.

ANA Kalakaua Center is a 151,842-square-foot, nine-story class A office building with ground floor retail located at 2155 Kalakaua Avenue at the entrance to Waikiki.

The total purchase consideration was approximately $30 million.

The seller is ANA Real Estate Hawaii, Inc., a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways of Japan.

The complex was 98 percent occupied at the time of sale and houses 38 tenants, including Planet Hollywood, JTB Hawaii, Aston Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels.

The Shidler Group represented itself. ANA Real Estate Hawaii, Inc. was represented by CB Richard Ellis.
