Virginia developer sells new residential tower

A recently completed multifamily high-rise complex in Arlington, Va., has sold to a limited liability company for an undisclosed amount.

GID Investment Advisors LLC purchased the property, IO Piazza, from the Ed Peete Co.

Completed in August, IO Piazza is a 12-story building with 244 one-, two- and three-bedroom units averaging 989 square feet each. Community amenities include a fitness center, community room/lounge, business center and sun terrace with a garden, as well as a five-level parking garage. IO Piazza is located at 2727 South Quincy St. in the Shirlington Village area of Arlington, approximately five miles southwest of Washington, D.C., via Interstate 395.

The Ed Peete Co. is an Arlington-based, high-end residential developer that has completed several Washington, D.C.-area projects including Joule, Zoso, The Bromptons at Courthouse, The Bromptons at Rosslyn and The Bromptons at Monument Place.
