East Coast printing company expands in New Jersey

A.F.L. Web Printing, a commercial printer based in Voorhees, N.J., has leased 146,000 square feet of industrial space in Secaucus, N.J., for an undisclosed price.

The Secaucus space will be the company’s second shop, which will handle printing, labeling, mailing, binding, inserting, circulation development, mail-list maintenance and distribution capabilities.

Principal Real Estate Investors owns the class A industrial building, which is located at 60-70 Seaview Drive.

“A.F.L. recently has added several Manhattan-based accounts and was looking to establish a new printing facility with proximity to the city,” said David Knee, a broker at Lee & Klatskin, the brokerage that represented A.F.L.

According to Stephen Elman, a broker at Cushman & Wakefield that represented the landlord, A.F.L. Web Printing has made a major capital investment at 60-70 Seaview Drive to set up a state-of-the-art print shop there. The firm is expected to be operational in fourth-quarter 2007.

“This property offers excellent N.J. Turnpike access, not to mention a strong regional labor pool. Structurally, the building provides high ceilings and ample loading areas that are well-suited to the company’s requirements,” Elman said.
