Candlemaker consolidates Southern California space

Zodax, which designs and distributes home decorative accessories, has acquired a 71,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility in Valencia, Calif., for approximately $9 million. The deal aims to consolidate activities formerly conducted in nearby San Fernando and Panorama City.

The new Zodax facility, to be used for the manufacture and distribution of candles and distribution of imported goods, is a concrete tilt-up structure that is 100 percent air conditioned. The building also features an ESFR sprinkler system, dock-high and ground-level loading, 17,207 square feet of class A office space, 26-foot clearance and on-site parking for 113 cars.

Zodax schedules an October occupancy following improvements of the property located at 29003 N. Avenue Sherman in Valencia Commerce Center.
